Early Spring Slump

Hi friends! Welcome back! Well, unfortunately fake spring has left us and we've now entered a second winter. It was nice to have a sprinkling of beautiful weather, but this past week has definitely humbled me and reminded me that I live in NJ. It won't be consistently warm until probably May, but more likely, June. Anyway, as we know, one of my biggest fashion struggles is feeling motivated to wear cute outfits during transitional seasons. When the weather is doing one thing and my soul is ready for another thing, I'd rather just stay on my couch and not get dressed until the weather has caught up with my soul. Is it just me? It can't be.

This vintage leather jacket will be a forever favorite of mine. I just got it a month ago and I've already worn it so much. I find myself reaching for it more than any other jacket, especially during this weird time of year when I'm done with winter coats but by no stretch of the imagination can I survive on a really thin spring jacket just yet. It's a soft, buttery leather that feels thick without being heavy and it is just the most perfect jacket for transitional weather. In the spirit of manifesting spring, I styled it with a light pink sweater draped over my shoulders, vintage Levi's, black loafers, and a pink hat I got from the Museum of the Moving Image. One thing about me, if I go to a cool place I've never been before and there's a gift shop, I'm buying a souvenir. All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
