Hi friends! Welcome back! If you follow trends, even a little bit, then I'm sure you've seen a thousand outfits that include the color yellow (butter yellow to be exact). I'm no exception to that because, much like all of the other fashion girls out there, I am obsessed with this color. I have always loved the color yellow but for some reason I never really wore it and I'm not sure why. Now that it's trending and I'm seeing it everywhere, I can't help but want to purchase everything in this color. I literally just bought a yellow trench coat the other day. Just wait until you guys lay your eyes on it. If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably know which trench I'm talking about but, if not, in the words of Jess from Love Is Blind, "you are going to choke" when you see it!
It was a beautiful 70 something degree day out last Sunday and we weren't planning on doing much besides walking around a cute town and grabbing a casual dinner alfresco. I wore one of my favorite vintage suede jackets, Levi's 501 jeans (shocker), a pair of mesh flats, and finished off the look with a little slice of butter (yellow). Pro tip: Throwing a sweater over your shoulders is not only a super cute way to elevate your outfit, it's also practical for seasons like this where it's warm during the day and chilly at night.
