90's Plaid

Hi friends! Welcome back! My closet has officially become 90% blazers and I'm not mad about it at all. I just feel like you can never have too many. Just when I think I have enough, I find another one that looks nothing like any of the others I own (or at least that's what I tell myself). Then I start creating all these outfit ideas in my head and convince myself that I can't continue on with life until I add this new one to my collection. It's a vicious cycle that I can't seem to beat so here we are again. My toxic trait is scrolling through the "new in" section on clothing websites and telling myself I'm "just looking" knowing there's a 98% chance that I will end up buying something. That's how I came across this blazer. As soon as I saw it, I bought it. Listen guys, I've been doing a really good job at keeping my impulse purchases to a minimum, but every now and then, I slip up. I'm only human. Also, the price was unbeatable for the quality so all in all, I have no regrets.

Okay, this is slightly off topic, but does anyone else struggle to find dark wash jeans that actually fit them well? I love dark wash denim in the fall and winter months, but for YEARS I have struggled to find a pair that fits me the way I want. They're always either too tight in the waist or too loose in the leg. I don't have this issue with light wash jeans or black jeans so what it is about the dark wash? I need answers! Honestly, I still haven't found the perfect pair, but I did find these in Zara recently and I love them! Most of my jeans are more of a slim/straight leg. These are a mom fit which is different for me, but I'm definitely a fan. I feel like it's giving "cool 90s mom" which is the style that I aspire to emulate with most of my outfits. I styled them with my new (also very 90s) wool blend plaid blazer, a basic long sleeve thermal shirt, and black sock boots. Are sock boots still a thing? I don't plan on retiring mine because I love them too much and they go with everything, but I'm just curious. Anyway, all outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
