Winter Uniform

Hi friends! Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate. If not, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Despite the unfortunate circumstances in the world right now, we were determined to make the best of Christmas this year and that's exactly what we did. My mom's birthday is on Christmas Day so Jason and I spent the morning opening up gifts with her which was a lot of fun. After that, we spent some time with Jason's family. It wasn't super cold and the rain stopped (thankfully) so Jason's dad set up a little bonfire that we all sat around as we opened up more gifts. It was obviously a little unconventional, but we all really enjoyed ourselves. It was oddly a very nice Christmas. One of my favorites even!

Okay, let's get into my outfit because I'm really excited about this one. One of the reasons this Christmas was so awesome to me was because of all the amazing fits I got. I know people say that as you get older Christmas becomes less about getting gifts, but those people should just speak for themselves because I will ALWAYS love gifts no matter what age I am. I'm a material girl and I feel no shame about it at all. When it comes to gifts, I usually ask for things that I've been eyeing but just didn't feel like spending the money on myself. This coat and these boots are two of those items. As you all know I am VERY into long oversized coats. I normally go for the belted ones to have the option of adding a little shape if I want to, but I also love a good menswear style coat as well. When I saw this one I just KNEW it would be a dream and my sweetheart of a fiancé came through for me as always. The colors and the print will make it so easy to style for many winters to come. Another item I had on my list was this pair of Chelsea boots. I had an old pair of Chelsea boots that were my absolute favorites but I unfortunately wore them to death and I couldn't find a pair that I loved as much until I saw these. The square toe is so chic and the comfort level is 10/10. Can't wait to wear these into the ground like I did with my other ones. I styled both pieces with my go-to black turtleneck and jeans. I could happily wear this outfit all winter. Details for everything are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
