Hi friends! Welcome back! I've been having so much fun coming up with these "extra content" post ideas. I'll literally be in the middle of doing laundry and a random thought pops up into my head, like today's post for example. I was scrolling through Instagram (when am I not?) and seeing a bunch of cute spring looks so I started thinking about how excited I am to start styling some spring pieces of my own. Then I thought, "Oh! Why don't I share what some of those pieces are on my blog?" So, here I am. Giving you the exclusive inside scoop.
As you all know, I'm a HUGE lover of coats/jackets/blazers. When it comes to outfit planning, if it's still cool enough outside to wear a jacket, it's easier for me to start there and then build the rest of my outfit from top to bottom. Below, I put together some looks I plan on wearing throughout the next few months. Since spring comes and goes in the blink of an eye before it's too warm to wear jackets, it makes more sense to build a small capsule wardrobe of interchangeable pieces. So, I pulled out some of my favorite spring jackets and my favorite pair of jeans, then I added some simple basics to create looks that can be mixed and matched all through spring. I hope this helps give you guys some insight into what you might want your spring wardrobe to look like. I'll link what I can below each photo and if the item isn't available, I'll try to link something similar. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
