Cropped

Hi friends! Welcome back! Phew, what a weekend! Now that I am fully vaccinated I am working on slowly but surely getting my life back on track which is super exciting. After over a year of isolation, Jason and I are trying to ease our way into doing some of the things we love like outdoor dining and spending more time with our family and friends. It's such a liberating feeling but also, my body has gotten so used to sitting on the couch that if I do even one big thing during the day I feel like I ran a marathon. Last weekend we had a bunch of content to shoot for an exciting week of posts which took up most of our day on Saturday. Then we decided to treat ourselves to a nice outdoor dinner at a restaurant we have been wanting to go to. Honestly, dining out might be one of my favorite things to do ever. I get so much joy out of having a meal and a glass of wine outside of my own home. I missed it so much. Sunday was Jason's grandma's birthday so we had a family get-together outside by her pool. It was the first time so much of the family was together at once and it was surreal but amazing. Needless to say, I am officially pooped! Okay, none of what I just rambled about has anything to do with this post but I just needed to express my happiness for a minute. Anyway, let's get into this outfit shall we?

I wasn't too sure about the cropped blazer trend at first, but it definitely grew on me and now, dare I say, I might even love it! I've seen this blazer in particular on a few different influencers and I just loved the color and how cool it looked on everyone. I wouldn't say this is one of those items that goes with everything, but it looks awesome when it is styled properly. I find that cropped blazers style best with high waisted jeans/pants which works for me because that's basically all I wear anyway. For this look, I went with a pair of distressed white denim, a cropped tank top, heeled sandals, my go-to sunnies, and some dainty accessories. Wait, guys can we just talk about these jeans for a second? They are such a flattering and comfortable fit. They have lots of stretch which is rare for a straight leg pair of jeans and the best part? They were only $22. Run ladies, don't walk. All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo
