Hi friends! Welcome back! This post is another really exciting one for me because...drumroll please...I finally got my first pair of real cowboy boots! Woo hoo! Okay, I realize this might not be very exciting to everyone else, but it's something I have wanted for quite a while now. I've done a lot of research because they can be a bit pricey so I wanted to make sure I was getting the best pair possible in a color that I could wear with most pieces in my wardrobe. I finally found the ones I wanted but again, they can be a bit pricey, so I put it on my birthday list and sent it to my husband like any wife would do. Right? Well, my birthday just passed and my sweet hubby got them for me. To say I made the right choice would be an understatement. These are absolutely perfect. They're extremely well made and comfortable. I feel like I could wear them all day long with absolutely no discomfort which is a major win because most shoes hurt my feet after a while even if they're flat.
As I mentioned above, I wanted to make sure I was choosing a pair that would work well with the pieces I reach for the most in my closet. Black seemed like an obvious choice, but for some reason I just felt like brown made more sense for cowboy boots so that's the color I went with. You all know how much denim I wear year round so I felt like brown boots would work just as well with the jeans and denim shorts I wear all the time. They would also look great with flowy dresses in the summer so I plan on wearing them with those as well. Overall, I definitely feel like I'm going to get a lot of use out of these. For my first outing with these babies, I styled them with my vintage leather bomber that I've been obsessed with since I bought it, a white tee and white denim shorts. I saw a super similar look to this one on an influencer and I just had to recreate it. I LOVE how it turned out.
