Hi friends! Welcome back! You guys have got to be sick of me saying this by now but here we are again. It's that time of year when I'm ready for the next season, but we're still very much in the same season. I'm going to be completely candid here in saying that I have been super unmotivated lately when it comes to fashion. Don't get me wrong, I love my winter coats and layering, but at a certain point I just start to feel a little bored with it which makes it difficult for me to feel excited about creating looks. I feel like I'm fully in spring mode, but it's still 30 degrees out and I do not love that for me.
This week's look is the result of me staring in my closet for 30 minutes, teary-eyed and on the verge of a panic attack because I could not think of a single outfit to wear that I felt good about. Eventually, I settled on this comfy, casual look. I believe the girls are calling it "slob chic"? I got this leather trench on eBay last month and I love it! I feel like it will be a great piece to style in the spring. My solution to combat my desire to wear spring clothes while it's still winter is incorporating bits of spring pieces into each look going forward until we finally get there.
