Hi friends! Welcome back! Does anyone else feel like last week was the longest week ever? Maybe it just was for me because I was itching to get to the long weekend. Speaking of which, I hope everyone had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! I definitely did. Historically, the weather on Memorial Day is usually not the best, but this year we were super fortunate. It was so nice to hang out with family by the pool and have delicious barbecued goods! Your girl LOVES hot dogs and burgers, especially when they’re fresh off the grill. Okay, let’s get into this outfit. For as long as I can remember, one of my go-to summer outfit formulas has consisted of a simple pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Throughout the years, the formula has evolved/been tweaked a little, but the overall look remains the same. I have been a fan of Anine Bing's brand for a while now, but I've avoided making any purchases because, if I'm being honest, all of the pieces I have wanted were just a tad too pricey for my budget. Don't get me wrong, I realize that I am no stranger to the occasional splurge, but I try to limit my splurges to my biggest fashion loves: designer handbags, high-quality blazers and jeans. Unfortunately, sometimes, I end up breaking that rule. I do my best, but I'm not perfect. When I spotted this t-shirt, it was something that I just knew I had to have, despite the price. Luckily, my birthday was right around the corner so when Jason asked me what I wanted, it was a no-brainer. I know it's just a t-shirt but, in my opinion, it is the best quality t-shirt I have ever owned and definitely my new favorite. I styled it with a pair of denim shorts and my high top converse for an everyday, casual, but super cute look.
All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
