Varsity Blues

Hi friends! Welcome back! I'm back with another groundbreaking denim look. I'm so sorry if you guys have been waiting for more dressy looks from me and I'm even more sorry that I can't tell you they're coming soon. I can not stop wearing jeans. It's an addiction at this point and it's one that I have no desire to beat. I LOVE my jeans. Nothing makes me feel more confident. Equally, I LOVE my jackets/coats styled with jeans, which means literally all my outfits lately are basically different variations of the same look. Luckily, I have some amazing jackets & coats to share with you all in the coming weeks that will hopefully distract you from the amount of denim I'm going to continue to force on you.

This week's look features a new type of jacket that I've actually never owned before. I've seen a lot of varsity jackets being worn lately and, while I love some of them, some of them just have a bit too trendy for me. This one was recommended by an influencer I follow on Instagram and I was immediately influenced. I love how simple and vintage it looks. It looks so cool styled with light wash denim and sneakers. Outfits like these can be really fun because the "casual-ness"(I can't seem to think of a better word than that) of it leaves a lot of room for you to dress it up with some makeup, add some accessories, and style your hair in a fun way, which will elevate the outfit a little more. I styled my hair in a cute ponytail and added silver jewelry, a purse, a tinted lip gloss (i've been obsessed with the Rhode lip tint in "raspberry jelly"), and, of course, my go-to Ray-Bans. I felt so cute!
