Hey babes! Based on the title of this post and the pics you just scrolled through, I assume you know what I'm about to talk about. It wouldn't be fall without apple picking! Last Friday was mine and Jason's 1 year anniversary! We celebrated by going to a yummy dinner at Sugarfish by sushi nozawa. FYI for anyone who hasn't been before, make sure you don’t go there starving because you can't make a reservation. The wait will be at least 2 hours, but it’s totally worth it! On Saturday, we went apple & pumpkin picking at Demarest Farms. This was Jason's first real apple picking experience and he loved it! We had a delicious lunch and then headed over to the orchard where we picked apples and took pictures (duh)! We left with tons of apples, a couple of pumpkins for carving, fresh apple cider, & donuts!
The weather was strange as it always is this time of year (hot with a jacket on and a little chilly without it). In all my "fun autumn activities" excitement, I decided to wear this cute long cardigan/jacket (carcket? jackigan?...nope, doesn't work). I knew it was probably too warm for that, but I didn't care because it's fall whether Mother Nature is ready to accept it or not. I paired it with a plain t-shirt, jeans, and old sneakers to make for a casual and comfy, but still stylish look!
