Hi friends! Welcome back! As you guys can see, I am back with another blazer look for you (oversized of course). At this point, I'm pretty sure my closet is about 85% blazers. It's an obsession that I just can't seem to shake and, honestly, I never want to. Whether it's winter or summer, I will almost always try to incorporate a blazer into my look. Since color has been one of the biggest trends this spring/summer, I have been trying to expand my wardrobe to add more colorful blazer options to my collection, within reason. When it comes to color, it's easy to get carried away because everything looks so pretty and fun, but it's important to be realistic about the colors you know you will actually continue to wear after the trend fades. For me, pink has been and will always be my absolute favorite color. No matter what the season is, I will always wear pink. It's basically a neutral for me. Another color I have always loved, but barely own anything in, is purple. I like to think of purple as pink's sassy cousin.
It's no secret that I am a sucker for influencer brands. I just feel like it's nice to make purchases from stores other than the usual brands we all constantly shop at. Don't get me wrong, I love Zara and H&M as much as the next girl, but it's just nice to switch it up sometimes. I spotted this gorgeous blazer on my Instagram feed and I literally stayed up until an embarrassing hour to make sure I would be able to snag it when it launched. Another thing about influencer brands, the items tend to sell out very quickly, so if you want something you better be glued to your computer/phone and ready to click "add to cart." Anyway, when this beauty finally arrived, she was everything I dreamed of and more. I know this is a blazer that I will get a lot of use out of because it looks perfect styled with jeans/denim shorts, which is basically all I wear. This time, I styled it with my favorite denim shorts, a pale pink tube top bodysuit, a pink mini purse and white heeled sandals. I call this my summer date night uniform. It also works great for brunch!
