Hi friends! Welcome back! Over the last fall/winter I became an oversized sweater girl which was new for me because prior to that, I just wasn't really interested in wearing sweaters at all. Honestly, I've loved watching my style change over the years. Well, maybe I wouldn't say change because my overall style has been pretty consistent over the past few years. I guess evolve is a better word. I've loved watching my style evolve. I'm less concerned with proving that I have a figure underneath my clothes, and more focused on wearing pieces that are timeless and comfortable without sacrificing style. Oversized sweaters have been just that.
One of the things I love most about sweaters is that, as long as they're not extremely thick and heavy, they can be transitioned into the spring months on days where it's a tiny bit chilly, but you're not really feeling like wearing a jacket. I love this Aritzia sweater because it's oversized and cozy which is perfect for winter, but it's not too thick or bulky so you can get away with wearing it during the spring as well on a 65 degree day. To keep things extra springy, I styled it with a pair of cream jeans, and loafers. A very no fuss, put together look. The colors reminded me of cherry blossom trees. A true indication that spring is here!
