Hi friends! Welcome back! As you can see, this was a very different shoot than our usual outside "out and about" shoots. So here's what happened. I was doing my usual twice-a-week scroll through Zara's website to see what new goodies they got in. First I came across this satin blouse which immediately went into my cart. Then, I spotted these gorgeous shoes and thought, "Ohh, how cute would these shoes be with the satin top and jeans?" So, needless to say, the shoes also immediately went into my cart. I couldn't wait to style this look, but unfortunately it was too cold to be outside without a coat and I meant it last week when I said I'm done with coats until next winter. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to try to create a moody "date night" vibe so we took some shots inside and this was the result! I love how these all turned out!
I've always been a fan of satin shirts tucked into jeans. Here's a hack for you guys: if you're not sure how to make jeans look elegant, invest in some satin shirts. Get your basic cream/white and black and then add a couple of fun colors in there too. Grab your best fitting pair of high waisted jeans, your favorite heels, some jewelry, a cute bag and you're good to go!
