Hi friends! Welcome back! I was looking at some photos of my outfits over the years from the beginning of this blogging journey until now and it really is crazy to watch your own style evolve over time. 5 years ago I never would have imagined that I would be the kind of girl who could pull off baggy clothes, especially not a full baggy look from head to toe. Now look at me. The thought of anything tight fitting makes cringe. That's not to say there's anything wrong with tighter fitting clothes if you're into that but, for me, at this age, I just can't stand "feeling" my clothes on me, if that makes sense. It's not only a comfort thing though, I just genuinely love the way looser fitting clothes drape along the body (when styled correctly of course). Here's what I mean....
One of the biggest pieces of style advice that I think most style experts would give is that it's all about proportions. For example, if you're wearing baggy pants, balance it out with a tighter fitting shirt and a pointed toe shoe or slim boot underneath. But, sometimes you can still be proportionate with an all baggy look as long as it's styled properly. For this look, I'm wearing a really loose fit pair of cargo pants and an oversized sweater. If I left the sweater untucked, this look would be pretty sloppy, but with a simple and slight front tuck, and a super oversized jacket that hits at the right spot on my legs, this outfit is instantly really cool. Finish off with whatever accessories you like and you're good to go! What's also great about baggy pants is that you can comfortably wear your knee high boots underneath, which is what I did here.
