Hi friends! Welcome back! Phew guys, this shoot was a struggle. I'm not sure if any of my fellow fashion lovers suffer from this same affliction so this may seem ridiculous to some (or all) of you but here goes. So I ordered a top for a very specific outfit that I'm super excited about but the top is slightly backordered. As I wait for it to arrive I have to come up with other outfits in the meantime. Unfortunately, my mind is 100% tunnel vision on the one outfit that I'm itching to wear so I just don't care to put any other looks together until I get that one out of the way. This means literally everything I put on looks terrible to me because my heart's not in it thus making me also feel like I hate every single photo of me in that outfit. Does anyone feel me on this or am I completely nuts?
I chose this look with a very specific inspo photo in mind. I won't even tell you guys which one it was because it's embarrassing now how much this did not turn out the way it was supposed to. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time or the energy to fix it/find a different outfit, so I had to just roll with it. It didn't help that the wind was on a thousand causing my hair to look like Medusa in almost every picture. Luckily, I was able to salvage some that I looked decent enough in to make a full blog post. As much as this isn't my favorite look of all time, I feel like it's important to show that you're not going to hit it out of the park every single time. Sometimes you're not going to love your work and that's okay. This outfit might still be a source of inspiration for someone out there so I figured, what the heck. I'm going to post it anyway. Hopefully the top will come in this week so I can finally reveal the look I've been dying to wear. Can you imagine if that ends up looking horrendous too? Pray for me guys.
