Hi all! Welcome back. So this post is a super exciting one because a few days ago I reached 1,000 followers on Instagram!! I started this blog a little over a year ago and only had 130 followers for most of that time. In these last few months, my blog/Instagram page seemed to reach a lot more people. I feel like it's because we've all been stuck at home with nothing else to do but binge shows and scroll through social media. As tough of a time these past 6 months have been, I can't deny all the good that it has brought on as well. To be honest, I feel a little pressure to keep things fun and interesting now that so many more people are following along but mainly I'm just super excited that I've gotten this far. I figure if I was able to get here doing what I'm already doing then I'll just continue doing that. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me!

Now, on to outfit stuff. I thought about putting together a really fancy look to celebrate the big 1k but in the end I decided the best way to do that is to stick to the heart of my style. I started this blog to offer wearable and stylish outfit ideas for girls like me who live in jeans and never want to wear anything else. Seriously, I've literally turned down jobs that have a "no denim" policy because I think it's ridiculous. I personally feel the most put together in a pair of jeans and whatever I decide to style it with on top. The options are endless and you can 100% look office ready in a good pair of jeans. Okay, I'll admit this rant was a little unnecessary because this look isn't for the office, but it needed to be said so I took my moment and ran with it. I chose this look because it's very "me". Also, the weather was cool enough to pull off a sweatshirt without sweating profusely so I saw that as an opportunity to create a look for the transitioning weather. If you guys remember the Balenciaga tee I had on a few posts back, this sweatshirt is from the same sweet girl I ordered that tee from. She makes the most awesome custom tees and crews. I styled it with an old pair of Levi's, my favorite Gucci slides, sunnies, and a Rebecca Minkoff shoulder bag that I turned into a clutch for picture purposes. All outfit details (or similar) are listed below. Thank you all so much for following along on this journey with me. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo
