Hi friends! Welcome back! That's right. You see it. For the first time in a long time your girl is wearing something other than denim. I was influenced to buy these pants by a content creator on Instagram and I'm so glad I did. I love the look of a baggy linen, or in this case, a linen-style, pant. I just feel like they're perfect for a chill daytime look in the summer or even a coverup over a swimsuit. These are actually from the men's section, which is new for me, but I'm definitely sold on men's pants after this pair. Actually, my sister-in-law got me another pair of linen pants from the men's section that I also love so between that pair and this one I am 100% sold on men's pants. I also love that they have a drawstring which makes the waist adjustable. Part of the reason I struggle with trousers is because the waist is always either too big or too small. The drawstring solves that problem.
For this look, I was going for "a casual day on a boat." I styled these fun pants with a simple white cropped tank top, heeled sandals, a bucket hat & my usual Ray-Bans. Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe heels aren't the best option for a boat, but knowing me, I would probably still wear them and then just bring a pair of flat shoes to change into when the heels inevitably become too much (probably 5 minutes in).
