Hi friends! Welcome back! This is my last post before I am officially a married woman!! Jason and I are getting married this Friday and I have never been more elated for anything in my entire life! It has been a whirlwind of emotions this past year and a half. Planning a wedding is no joke, but we did it and now that we're at the finish line, I am feeling more excited than ever. I debated whether or not I was going to post anything this week because as you can imagine, we have A LOT to do, but I wore this really cute outfit to brunch on Saturday and couldn't not document it.
I bought this cute little linen crop top from Primark a few months ago and haven't had a chance to wear it yet. When I was struggling to pick an outfit for brunch, I spotted it in my closet and decided to take her out for a spin. My favorite thing to wear in the summer is denim shorts with a cute top. It's basically the warm weather version of jeans and a cute top. For whatever reason, denim is what I feel the most confident in so it's what I grab for above anything else when choosing an outfit. I have literally turned down jobs that had a "no denim" policy. If I have to spend 5 of our 7 days a week somewhere, I need to be able to wear what I want. Pencil skirts are boring (in my opinion) and I'm very picky about the way I like my trousers to fit. I'm someone whose mood can be very dependent on how I look so if I'm not happy with my outfit, it ruins my whole day. Is it silly? Probably, but we all just have to do what we can to keep ourselves feeling good, whatever that may be. I styled this look with some of my favorite pink accessories and we headed out for a nice yummy meal.
