Less Whine, More Wine

Welcome back sugar plums! Last weekend was a super special one. On Saturday, Jason and I went to a couple wineries with his sister and brother-in-law. We have been planning to do this for almost a year, so it was so nice to finally spend some one on one time with them...or would it be two on two time? *insert thinking face emoji* We started the day at Old York Cellars where we did a wine tasting and had a cute picnic style lunch outside. The weather was beautiful and they had a live band playing. After lunch, we went to Beneduce Vineyards and enjoyed another glass of wine. We took a tour of the beautiful vineyard and as you can see from the pictures above, I had such a great time!

Okay, on to the good stuff! So is it just me or does it seem like it is extremely difficult to find jeans that aren't cropped or ankle length these days? I am about 5'3" and while I love that denim brands are starting to cater to shorties, I'm realizing I am not going to want my ankles exposed in the fall & winter months. This creates a problem because almost all of my jeans are cropped. I started searching for straight jeans with a longer hem and found that it was way more challenging than I was expecting. I do have long legs and a shorter torso, but again, I am not tall at all. Where are all these influencers finding these jeans? Help a sista out! Anyway, I found these babies at Aritzia and fell in love with the fit and the length. This pair is a straight leg which is perfect for wearing over boots & booties and I love the distressing on them! I understand that wearing jeans with rips makes absolutely no sense when I just said I want my ankles covered, but I don't have an explanation for you, okay? The heart wants what it wants. All outfit info is listed below. See ya next week!
