Hi friends! Welcome back! Full transparency here...this week's outfit was a struggle. The weather here in Jersey has been so bizarre these last few days which made it extremely difficult for me to execute any of the looks I had in my head. Obviously, considering the fact that it's mid-April, my mind, body and soul are all completely done with the cold weather. Mother Nature, on the other hand, has other plans. Like, how do you dress for spring when you're done with coats, but it's 50 degrees out? I almost decided to skip blogging this week all together because I could not, for the life of me, think of what to wear. Thankfully, my wonderful fiancé encouraged me to persevere and persevere I did. I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself when it comes to outfits because this blog is my baby and I want make sure I'm delivering quality content that I'm proud of. The tricky part is that I don't want to post looks I don't feel 100% confident in just for the sake of posting, but I also want to make sure I'm staying consistent. I spent days trying to create looks and just when I was about to give up for good, a lightbulb went off in my head. I guess the moral of the story is, don't give up!
I got this trench at the beginning of the pandemic and I completely forgot I had it. I originally had on a blazer that I wasn't in love with and then I randomly spotted it in my closet just as I was about to leave. It's more structured than my other trench coats which I thought worked better for this look. Orange has become one of my favorite colors to wear, so I wanted to create another orange look featuring this this new bodysuit I purchased and these super cute heeled sandals. I feel like this would be a great look for brunch with the girls or even date night!
Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
