It's a Coatigan
Hi friends! Welcome back! Is anyone else dying to start wearing their winter coats or is that just me? Unfortunately, it's still not nearly cold enough to wear anything more than a light jacket or a cardigan. Don't get me wrong, I love fall jackets too, but there's something about a chic winter coat that is undefeated, in my opinion.
Anyway, as far as fall outerwear is concerned, aside from my love for brown leather jackets and trench coats, I've really been obsessing over cardigans. I found this one in my closet that my husband got me a couple Christmases ago. It's probably my favorite cardigan that I own, however I don't get much use out of it because it's somewhere in between a coat and a cardigan (a coatigan!) so it's usually either too warm or too cold outside for it to make sense. I usually end up just wearing it around the house, but it's such a gorgeous cardigan that it deserves to be showcased to the world.
It was about 65 degrees out yesterday, so I thought that would be the perfect temperature to take this beauty on an outing. I styled it with my go-to look, consisting of jeans, a fitted white tee, and booties. The length and weight made it the perfect substitute for a winter coat as I fight the urge to wear them prematurely. All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
