Hi friends! Welcome back! Well, it’s that time of year again. It happens twice a year, every year. The dreaded fashion rut between seasons. One of the things I love about living on the East Coast is the change of seasons. In the summer I can’t wait for fall/winter and in the winter I can’t wait for summer. The thing is, when I’m ready for the next season, it’s hard for me to care about what I’m wearing in the current season if that makes sense. For example, now that we‘re heading into March and having little teaser days of spring weather, my brain is in full blown spring mode and the sight of my coats (as much as I love them all) is irritating me. I’m normal guys, I promise.
Honestly, this outfit was a struggle for me to put together for the reasons I stated above. Unfortunately, it was extremely cold out so there was no way around wearing a heavy coat outside so I had to force myself to create another winter look but, just know, I was dying inside. This girl is ready for bright, fun colors and oversized button downs. I think a good balance is going to be incorporating more springy pieces into my winter wardrobe until it gets warm enough to ditch the coats for good. Anyway, despite my complaints, I am happy with how this look turned out! All details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
