Fresh off the Grill

Hi friends! Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend. With so much doom and gloom in the world, I look forward to holiday weekends even more than ever now. I'm not going to lie, what I look forward to the most is food fresh off the grill, and a good time with family, but since this is a fashion blog I guess I'll focus on one of my other favorite parts. Cute, festive outfits. I'm sure you guys have noticed at this point, but I have been wearing this white bodysuit nonstop since last year. I'm not kidding, if you scroll through my photos, you'll see this exact bodysuit incorporated into most of my outfits from summer to winter to summer again. I wear it so much, I own two of them, just in case something happens to one. I have half a mind to purchase a third because why not?

For the holiday weekend, I decided to style my favorite bodysuit with a pair of dark wash denim shorts and...drumroll please...my new bucket hat. I have always thought bucket hats were cute on other people, but I have never dared to try to wear one myself. Since I became a baseball cap girl last year, I thought, "Hmm...maybe I could be a bucket hat girl too." So, here we are. Who would have thought that the same girl who swore she would never wear hats because they look horrible on her would now have an entire bin in her closet dedicated solely to hats. And it's full. Life comes at you fast. Anyway, I finished off the look with a red lip and a pair of classic white Nikes. I felt so cute and fun. So here's your reminder to try new things no matter how small. Not just with clothes, but with anything in life. You just might surprise yourself.

All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
