Falling Into Autumn

Hi friends! Welcome back! Ha! I just realized the title of this post sounds very much like the title of a Hallmark movie about a city girl that falls in love with a country boy at the fall harvest. You guys know what I'm talking about. I love those! Anyway, it is officially fall and thankfully the weather has been conducive to fall fashion lately because I am SO ready. My shorts have been put away and the sweaters are out to play. Speaking of sweaters, let's talk about it.

I plan on living in thick sweaters and cardigans all fall/winter so I thought I would start off the season with a sweater I recently got and LOVE. I came across this one when I was at the mall recently. It was right in front of the store on display and I loved it right away. In the spirit of trying to impulse buy less, I ended up leaving it behind because I saw that it was in-stock on the website so I figured if I couldn't stop thinking about it I would just order it. Well, I got home and couldn't stop thinking about it so here were are. I'm not usually into patterns, but this one is subtle enough, and the colors are neutral enough, that I can get away with wearing it over and over again. It's super thick too so, perfect for the winter as well. The best part is, it's not itchy at all so you don't have to wear a full long sleeve shirt underneath. I styled it with a pair of loose fit, straight leg jeans (another staple item I am obsessing over), and converse. Looks like these are great if you're going for a comfy chic look, which is what I aim for daily.

I have soo many more fun fall looks coming that I can't wait to share with you guys so stay tuned for those! All outfit details will be linked below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
