Welcome back folks! We finally had a decent snow day last Saturday! I am still waiting for a full-blown, 1-2 feet snow storm, but this miniature one filled the void for now. Jason and I spent basically the entire day at the car dealership so we missed a big chunk of the snowfall but we came out with a new car, so yay!
If you read last week’s post, then you probably remember the pair of winter boots I mentioned that I have been dying to wear. Well, this past weekend it was officially cold enough, by my standards, to wear them. I have always kind of been against wearing winter boots because I've always felt like they were too chunky looking for my skinny legs. A couple of months ago, an influencer I follow shared some of her favorite winter boots and one pair in particular touched my soul in unimaginable ways. These babies are super comfortable while still being stylish which is hard to find in winter boots (another reason why I've avoided them for so long). They are definitely not snow boots though, so I wouldn't wear them in more than a few inches of snow. That said, they are great for light snow and super cold days. I have them in my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly so I would say they are true to size. I styled them with a corduroy overshirt (super cute both open or buttoned up), a white turtleneck, & black skinny jeans. All outfit details (or similar options) are posted down below. Until next week, tootles sugar plums!
