Cozy, Casual, Cool

Hi friends! Welcome back! You know when you purchase an item and you just know that you're going to live in it as much as you can for the rest of your life? That's this vest for me. I'm not exaggerating when I say I try to find a way to incorporate it into almost every outfit I put on. Obviously that's not possible, but I really wish it was. Since I ordered it in the largest size, I'm able to layer up a bunch underneath it which makes it acceptable to wear as its own outerwear piece. It was about 45 degrees when I wore this and I was barely cold. I definitely take back what I said about vests being impractical. I'm a changed woman. I don't even know who that other woman was.

So, this past weekend we went thrifting and found the BEST thrift store (in our area at least). It was our first super successful thrifting experience and let me tell you, it was liberating. I literally bought 5 new winter coats and all of them are in near perfect condition. I feel like I just won the lottery. This cozy, relaxed look is what I wore on our thrifting excursion and it was the perfect outfit for shopping. When I go shopping at stores that require me to peruse through a million racks, I feel like the most important thing is to wear something comfortable. However, I also like to look presentable in case I run into someone I know or a celebrity or something. Listen, you'd be surprised how many famous people I've run into in my life at places I would never expect to see any. Anyway, this look fit the bill of both comfy and stylish and I'm just glad I had another reason to wear this perfect vest. All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
