Chocolate & Vanilla

Hi friends! Welcome back! I took a bit of a break because, well, I haven't been impressed with anything I've been wearing and if I'm not impressed, I don't expect you guys to be. The problem is, when we moved into our new house in the summer, I packed away all of my winter clothes in storage bags and put them in the attic. Out of sight, out of mind. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but then I blinked and it was winter and I wasn't smart or patient enough to label the storage bags. Now I have about 40 bags of clothes in the attic and I have no idea what's in each bag, which means I have to look through all of them to find what I need at any given time until I muster up the energy to organize them. It has made creating outfits very challenging this season and unfortunately, I am the type of person that shuts down when things get stressful. I'm working on it.

Anyway, I was lucky enough to find a few more of my jeans in one of the bags, including this cream pair that I LOVE. I recently bought this gorgeous chocolate brown coat and thought it would look perfect styled with the jeans, so here we are. I kept the chocolate theme going by adding a brown turtleneck, brown belt, and brown boots and for the first time in weeks, I really liked my outfit. Yay! All outfit details are listed below.
