Chic But Comfy

Welcome back everyone! Last weekend was another super busy but really fun one. My childhood bestie, Monica, was in town from DC! We spent Friday and Saturday night catching up, drinking wine & cocktails and just all around living our best lives. My favorite thing about our friendship is that no matter how long we go without seeing each other, it's like no time has passed at all when we finally do. On Sunday, Jason and I hosted a small Super Bowl party. It was our first party in our new home and I am happy to say it was a success *pats back*!

I am super excited to talk about this outfit, mainly one piece in particular which I am sure you can all guess. There is something about a fur coat that no matter what you throw it on over you instantly look like a millionaire. My mom bought me this one for Christmas. I have been dying to give it a proper debut but much like the aforementioned winter boots, the weather has not allowed me to do so until now. I am not typically someone who wears the color brown because it can be challenging to match it with anything other than denim, but this coat works with a wide variety of looks. The fur is super soft and I just feel like I'm walking around in a big cozy blanket all day long. I consider my style aesthetic to be chic but comfortable (hence the title) and this coat gives me just that. Thanks mama! I styled it with a tan turtleneck, high waisted jeans in a mid-blue wash, & snake print booties. All outfit links (or similar) will be linked below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! xoxo
