Hola mis amigos! Welcome back! It looks like things are slowly getting back to normal (at least as far as stores and restaurants starting to open back up goes) and although I am super excited about it, I'm also pretty nervous. I'm ready to get back into the world and have a nice meal and cocktail al fresco, but it's hard to forget that there's still a virus lurking around. I see so many people on social media hanging out with friends and family and then the fomo hits and I start thinking, "Uhh do they know something I don't? Is the coast clear?" I have so many outfits I want to wear to real places for more than 10 minutes so if it's safe for me to do so, please let a girl know!
I have never been one to wear white bottoms much because (and I'm sure you feel me ladies) I feel like it's almost impossible to avoid spilling something on it that stains. I wear white tops all the time and spilling isn't much of a concern but white pants? Forget it. There's no denying the chic-ness of a crisp white pair of jeans/pants which is why we all continue to risk it knowing what impending doom awaits us. The pair I'm wearing above is in the shade "bone" which is more of an off-white color. I wore these in a previous blog post where I raved about them and I still feel the same way. The older I get, the more I don't want anything clinging to me, especially my jeans, but there's a thin line between relaxed and sloppy. I look for jeans that give me that relaxed "mom" look but still fit really nicely on the waist and bum. My main goal is just to be able to sit down and eat and not have to unbutton my pants at any point. These jeans check all of those boxes so I will wear them (and spill on them) for as long as they last. I styled these babies with black heeled sandals, a black western belt, my new favorite earrings, sunnies, and a black bodysuit...okay when I say I don't like clothes that cling to me, that doesn't include bodysuits.
