Bachelorette Babes

Hi friends! Welcome back! So as you can see from the influx of photos above, last weekend was my bachelorette party!! In addition to my wedding day, I have dreamed about my bachelorette my whole life, wondering what that would be like, what I would end up doing, where it would be, etc. Let me tell you guys, I am blown away by how much fun I had. I am a pretty low key girl. These days, my idea of a good time is sitting on the couch, with a glass of wine in hand, watching a thriller movie/tv show. So, when it came to my bachelorette, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do something that was a little reminiscent of my younger, college days when I was more of a party-goer. My super woman Matron of Honor/future sister-in-law along with my best friends put together the ultimate bachelorette weekend and I am still in shock by the whole thing. I didn't know how they could possibly outdo themselves after the perfect bridal shower they threw me, but they absolutely did and then some. They all chipped in to get the cutest t-shirts & decorations and everything was just so flawlessly executed. Not to mention all of the fun activities we did all weekend! Here's what was on the agenda:

Friday Night: Pajama pizza party/game night

Saturday:

-Lunch, drinks & fun on a Tiki boat

-More fun at Martell's Tiki Bar

-Dinner

-Hit the town and check out the night time bar scene

Sunday: Brunch

Okay, so since this is a fashion blog, of course I have to talk a little bit about clothes. I know some girls go all out with the matchy-matchy, perfectly coordinated outfits for their bachelorettes but it was important for me to have all of my girls feeling as comfortable as possible in whatever they wore. I gave simple instructions for everyone to wear pink for dinner but other than that I left all of the planning to them. I obviously kept it very comfortable for Friday night's activities as well as the Tiki boat on Saturday, so I'll skip right to my dinner look. I was on the hunt for the perfect outfit to wear for a bachelorette dinner/night out and when I came across this fringe set, I knew it was the one.

I'm going to be honest, it did last throughout dinner but, being that we were by the beach, it got pretty chilly at night so the skirt turned into white jeans immediately after dinner. It was fun while it lasted and I got cute photos out of it, so no regrets here. My favorite part of the outfit was the denim jacket. I was eyeing this jacket for months, but the price was a bit steep so I hesitated to pull the trigger and of course my handsome hero, Jason, came to my rescue, as always, and bought it for me. I originally planned on wearing it for my bridal shower but it was a million degrees that day so I decided to wear it for my bachelorette instead. It worked out perfectly since the jacket is also fringey. For Sunday's outfit, I decided to keep it simple again for brunch since we were all going to be heading home directly after. So that's it! That's my rundown of the most phenomenal weekend with some of the most important people in my life. I am endlessly grateful to everyone who had a hand in planning this event and I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life.
