Hi friends! Welcome back and happy spring! Since yesterday was the official first day of spring, I thought it would be fitting for me to start off the season in my favorite color. Obviously, you guys know I wear pink all year round but, during the spring and summer months, it just feels so much more exciting for some reason. Honestly, my entire spring/summer wardrobe consists mostly of denim & pink so you can expect to see plenty of looks that include both of those things from now until September. I apologize if it's overkill, but, as I've said before, some people wear a lot of black, I wear a lot of pink. We all just want to wear what makes our brains and souls happy, right?
I got this rain jacket from Primark last year for an absolute steal. It's one of those packable jackets that comes with a tiny matching drawstring bag that you can stuff the jacket into which makes it super easy to pack for trips. The best part is that it somehow doesn't wrinkle much when you take it out of the bag. It was one of those items that I bought because of the color (of course) and how inexpensive it was, but I didn't have any expectations to wear it much. Honestly, I completely forgot about it until I was looking through my closet for a cute spring outfit and spotted it buried between my other coats. I immediately thought of how I wanted to style it and decided to wear the jacket as a top instead. Thankfully it came out exactly the way I planned it in my head. I feel like this look would be perfect for a 65 degree spring day when you have plans that require you to look nice, but it's also going to rain and you don't want to have to wear an ugly rain coat over your cute outfit. You're welcome ladies.
