Hi friends, welcome back! I'm going to keep this week's post short and sweet because this outfit pretty much speaks for itself. It is no secret that casual styling is my favorite. If there's one thing you can expect from me week after week, it's that I am most definitely going to bring you a casual chic look. Usually, I choose to dress up my jeans with a stylish blazer or coat but, occasionally, I just feel like I want to be as comfortable as possible. Jason and I went to a fall festival over the weekend and I knew we would be doing a lot of walking so I wanted to wear something that was stylish while providing maximum comfort. My comfort item of choice was a pair of leggings. In my opinion, leggings can be tough to style in a way that isn't boring or frumpy so I've made it my mission to master a foolproof way to spice up your leggings in the fall. Based on my extensive Pinterest research, if you throw on your favorite trench, a pair of high socks and some retro sneakers, you somehow end up looking like one of the most fashionable women in the room. If there's one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty, it's that a trench coat will ALWAYS make any outfit look chic and there's just something about high socks with sneakers that ties the whole look together. For me, I feel like the socks/sneaker combo gives my legs a nice shape. Is that weird? I dk. Maybe it's in my head, but that's what I'm going with. Anyway, the next time you're looking for a way to make your leggings look a little less legging-y, try adding these little details and then thank me later. All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
