Old Reliable

Hi friends! Welcome back and happy Thanksgiving week! This is one of my absolute FAVORITE holidays. I mean, nothing beats Christmas, but Thanksgiving is a close second for sure. I mean what's not to love? Food, family, wine? Sign me up every time. Of course, as a fashion girl, one of my favorite parts is finding a cute comfy outfit to wear just to sit inside with the same people I see all the time and stuff my face. It's all part of the fun. I am the absolute worst at remembering to take OOTD pictures, but I will do my absolute best to remember this year. Follow me on Instagram if you want to see that! Also, speaking of Instagram, I post more outfits than just what you see on this blog, so if you're interested in seeing more of my looks, make sure you're following me there too!

Okay all of that had literally nothing to do with today's outfit, but I felt the need to share anyway so thanks for indulging me. If you read last week's post, then you might remember that I mentioned I was saving the second look we shot for this week. Well, this is it. I call this look "old reliable" because seriously guys, and I can't stress this enough, you cannot go wrong with an oversized blazer, white tee, jeans, & boots. Any color blazer works, but black is always a safe and chic choice. I'm sure you've noticed that I've worn so many different variations of this same exact look year after year, season after season (except summer obviously). I truly believe that if I was forced to choose only 5 items to wear for the rest of my life, I would choose these four and a stylish warm coat to throw on in the colder months. This outfit has the same exact base pieces as last week's look except, this time, I swapped the trench for my favorite super oversized black blazer and I swapped the converse for a pair of Chelsea boots. This #nospendnovember has been a piece of cake. Fine, that's a lie, but as I said last week, it definitely hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be thanks to the perfect fall/winter wardrobe staples I've curated over the last couple years. All outfit details are listed below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
