Keeping It Simple
Updated: Jun 28
Hi friends! Welcome back! Does anyone else struggle with their style in the warmer months? Personally, I feel completely lost when it comes to dressing for spring/summer. Spring is tough because the weather is all over the place (90 degrees one day and 55 the next) and then in the summer you're limited by the heat. I'm not much of a dress/skirt person which basically only leaves me with shorts and then it's like, well, how many different denim shorts outfits can I come up with without it looking like I'm incapable of putting together any other type of look? First world problems right?
Anyway, the weather this past weekend was weird and chilly and gloomy and I had absolutely no clue how to dress for that since my brain is focused on summer, so I just threw on the simplest outfit I could think of that would work on a cloudy 70 degree day. I went with a bodysuit, my most worn custom vintage loose fit Levi's, a striped sweater, and a pair of Birks. Looks like this are perfect because if it's cooler out you can put the sweater on, but if the sun comes out and it gets too warm for the sweater then you can drape it over your shoulders for a chic Parisian look.
