Happy Tuesday everyone! Before I get into this post, I feel like I should warn you that I am going to be annoying all season long. I downplayed my love for fall in my last post, but I feel compelled to be honest with you and let you know that this love is real and it's intense and I will not be able to stop talking about it. Phew, glad I got that off my chest. Now let's get into it!
Recently, one of my best friends got engaged and last weekend she hosted a bridal brunch where she asked little ol' me to be a bridesmaid. The brunch was held on the rooftop of Hotel Chantelle in the city. It was one of the cutest little spots I've been to with great food and a fun live jazz band. The lead singer had on an awesome ‘40s style outfit and I was living for it! Congratulations to my bestie/twin Marissa & her high school sweetheart Kevin! I am so excited and honored to be a part of your special day!
After the brunch, I met up with Jason to see It Chapter Two at the iPic theater at Fulton Market. We had a bunch of time to kill, so we had a drink at the cool outdoor bar there and took some outfit pics in the area. Now, this is the time of year where summer to fall transitional looks come into play. It might still be 85 degrees during the day, but then it's 58 degrees by 6pm. I loved wearing this set because the top was sleeveless. So, if I was warm, I could take my jacket off and still feel comfortable. Also, the length of this skirt is perfect because it can be worn in the colder months with a pair of high boots!
Okay, I've kept you in suspense long enough. Here is what you came here for:
Jacket: H&M
Top: Mango
Skirt: Mango
Shoes: (4,000 years old but here is a somewhat similar option)
Bag: Chloe
