Cool Girl

Hi lovies! Welcome back! This week's post is a little different than my usual choice for a background setting. Jason and I went for a walk around Greenwood Gardens and I intended to take pictures there. Unfortunately we had to keep our masks on the entire time so we decided we would just take pictures somewhere else after we finished our garden tour. I just laughed to myself about a couple in their 20s going on a garden tour. We are already an old married couple and I love it. We ended up in a nearby town and found an empty parking lot so we could take our mask-less pictures in peace. I know I take pictures in empty parking lots a lot but I felt like this one was a bit different because of the awesome graffiti on the walls. It felt really edgy which I thought was perfect for this outfit.

Throughout the fall/winter you guys can expect one constant theme from me and that's layering. As I mentioned in last week's post, layering is an easy way to amplify your outfit in the colder months. One of my favorite pieces to layer is a leather jacket. I was on the hunt for a timeless leather jacket that I can wear year after year and I had my eye on this one. Jason surprised me with it as an anniversary present and it is perfect! I originally got it in a size small but that didn't leave me with much room to bulk up underneath so I sized up to a large instead. Leather jackets are an essential fall staple because they literally go with every single outfit. More importantly, there's no way to not look cool in one. I styled this look with a basic black turtleneck, a printed t-shirt, jeans, and snake print boots. All direct links (or similar) are listed below. Until next time sugar plums, tootles! Xoxo.
